QSL Checking

NARS and the local Houston area are fortunate to have local Card Checking Awards Managers. These awards managers are available to check your hard earned QSL cards for the awards listed below.

This means you do not have to send your QSL cards to the League for checking and worry about their safe return. Just present the proper application form and the QSL cards to the awards manager. They will check your cards, sign the form, and you send the application and appropriate fee to the ARRL.

Each awards manager has a supply of the application forms for these awards. If you need one, let them know. You can also download or print the applicable forms from this web page.

You must be a member of the American Radio Relay League to receive the awards. If you have a question concerning these awards, contact the appropriate awards manager. These managers DO NOT issue the awards, they only check your cards and certify eligibility. Refer to the ARRL Awards Program information on the ARRL website for additional information.

If you have cards to check, contact one of the following card checkers:

  • DXCC Bob Walworth N5ET
  • WAS Brian Derx N5BA
  • 5BWAS Brian Derx N5BA
  • VUCC Brian Derx N5BA
  • WAZ H. O. Townsend K5CX
